High thermal insulation properties is the main requirement for window constructions. To achieve maximum insulation performance is a very important quality of each component of the window structure. One of the elements that affect the heat-insulating properties of the window is the spacer frame in the double-glazed window.
A spacer frame is a glass unit that performs the function of a spacer between the panes. Look inside the double-glazed window. Between the glasses along the entire contour of the double-glazed window is a spacer frame.
The conventional spacer frame is made of aluminum, the frame is empty with special diffusion holes. Such a spacer frame for half a century was used in the manufacturing of insulating glass. But aluminum is a material that conducts heat well.
In winter, the temperature of the glazing surface on room side is reduced, which leads to the loss of excess moisture on the window surface. Especially critical in the issue of condensate precipitation is the edge zone along the perimeter of the glass unit. This is because the conventional spacer frame becomes a “bridge of cold”, which lets the heat out and the cold inside the room.
When the humidity of the air is high and the room temperature is low, excess moisture falls on the glass when the glass temperature reaches the “dew point”. Ample condensation can drain onto the windowsill, and at low temperatures the condensate freezes to form ice. In order to solve this problem, leading specialists in the late 90’s developed a special warm spacer frame. In Europe, the vast majority of double-glazed windows are manufactured using a warm spacer frame.

Considering the location of the building near the pond, a special preprocessing “SEASIDE A” is applied before painting the facade profiles, which provides the highest degree of surface protection and durability of the paint. A unique appearance of the facade will also be possible thanks to the unique type of Coatex paint, which provides not only reliability, but also a sense of color depth.

In early 2016 Reynaers introduced an improved CW 50-HI system. Now it has better thermal insulation properties, advanced installation technology, and a higher level of air and water resistance, reaching a level of 1950 Pa.
High insulation value
In this version of the CW 50, profiles with improved insulation properties are used which result in a Uf value of 0.65 W / m² K with a glass thickness of 60 mm. (Previously, the Uf value was 0.73 W / m²K, while for the standard CW 50 system the Uf value is 1.7 W / m²K).
Optimal glass fastening
Since this embodiment does not require the use of an additional gasket for a deep glass unit, the glass can be fastened closer to the aluminum profile. This gives a significant advantage in using a heavy double-glazed unit with a maximum thickness of 62 mm.
The insulation profile, which is used in the HI system, consists of a hard and soft part. The soft part is pre-cut, which facilitates the attachment of drainage channels. The hard part is ideal for fastening with screws. Glass does not require the use of a waterproof tape to achieve a high level of air and water resistance.
